Sourcing Analyst - Procurement
A Leading Financial Service are looking to hire an experienced Sourcing Analyst - to work in their European Procurement Team.
Sourcing Analyst - Canary Wharf
*The Sourcing Team is responsible for identifying, qualifying & securing optimal supply sources by measuring & managing supplier relationships.
*As a Sourcing Analyst, you will be responsible for providing support on all aspects of the suppliers sourcing and contracting process for the European team.
Role
*Support supplier engagement processes, procedures, and performance metrics at European level.
*Support the deployment of global/regional/market commodity strategies.
*Support the engagement with business stakeholders to feed into the sourcing activity pipeline.
*Support all activities relating to supplier selection and on boarding (eg RFI, RFP/RFQ, FSA, SOW, etc.).
*Support all aspects of supplier due diligence and risk management.
*Support all aspects of supplier contracting utilizing the appropriate business template.
*Support the usage of our ARIBA Procurement suite.
*Position may require international travel, for European team meetings

*Good understanding of the procurement function.
*Good understanding of commercial contract terms.
*Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

*Required to travel or work remotely
The successful candidate will spend a lot of time interacting with the business, either face to face or on the phone - so good communication skills and business acumen will be essential.
Candidate Requirements
*Skills
1.Interpersonal skills - Business competency with English language.
2.Strong analytical skills
3.Commercial awareness, Understanding of contracts - experience with Ariba would be desirable.
*Degrees or certifications required
- Must have experience with professional procurement, 3 years as a minimum but we would expect more. Not too senior, as they would get bored. Need to be able to grow, build and learn.
*Soft Skills/Personality Requirements
*Non-essential requirements that would give the candidate an edge,
Exposure to Ariba.
Looking for indirect procurement experience - HR services, Marketing services etc.
