Actuarial Reporting Manager
My client is a major Financial Services business looking to recruit an Actuarial Reporting Manager to join the business on an initial 6 months contract.
The contractor will deliver efficient analysis and reporting to senior management and external stakeholders.
Actuarial Reporting Manager Responsibilities:
- Supervise and review the production of technically sound projected ultimate loss ratios across a variety of business lines.
- Ensure all changes to projections are fully validated and explained. Produce equivalent results for certain business units/products.
- Work with analysts within the department to ensure all results are produced to set deadlines, and high standards of accuracy.
- Present performance updates to internal and external stakeholders at monthly/quarterly meetings.
- Coordinate and drive change, delivering new solutions and innovation within a team environment and considering wider options.
- Plan and deliver new analysis and ad-hoc MI requests to agreed timetables.
- Provide technical expertise on data manipulation and analytical techniques and software to colleagues both within and outside the department.
Actuarial Reporting Manager Specification:
- Part Qualified or Qualified Actuary (AIA, FIA .)
- 5+ years experience working within the Financial Services industry
- Must have advanced excel with strong modelling focus.
- Res Q, SAS and SQL would be very beneficial
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to influence internal and external stakeholders
