Description
A Leading Financial Services Company are recruiting for an IFRS9 Risk Analyst to provide insight and understanding of problem debt and risk trends that ultimately help senior management and executives within the Bank on a contracting basis.
The IFRS 9 Risk Analyst will be expected to have the following experience:
- Carry out monthly calculations for impairments across the Business Banking and Corporate portfolios according to defined processes
- Report impairment and provision performance against budgets and forecasts, providing insight where appropriate for any variances
- Undertake quarterly provision adequacy assessments
- Undertake forecasting exercises on IFRS9 impairments and provision
- Optimise SAS and Excel provision processes
- Develop an IFRS9 provision requirement reporting process
- Work closely with other Risk and Finance teams to ensure good analytical outputs are transparent, well understood and provide a robust basis for strategic financial planning
- Maintain robust documentation related to forecasting and provision adequacy ensuring a full audit trail exists
