Description
Tangent International are currently seeking a Senior Category Manager to work for a market leading entertainments organisation in London on an initial 12 month contract basis.
Responsibilities:
- Under the guidance and supervision of the Executive Director, the Senior Category Manager is responsible for managing all category aspects of regional and global account strategy, sales plans, forecasts, and contractual negotiations in order to maximize revenue and achieve financial targets.
- At a P&L level, manages assigned Fashion accounts to drive placement and successful sell-through of key brands.
- Responsible for regional co-ordination of key global accounts.
- Drives budget process for assigned partners
- Identify new trends and product innovation that will drive business opportunities and market share gain
Work Experience:
- Previous licensing sales experience and/or buying experience required.
- Previous entertainment experience is preferred
- Knowledge of softlines licensing industry required.
- Must have ability to organize and prioritize work, prepare and present written and oral sales presentations, and communicate with clients, licensees, and management to determine needs and solve problems
- Must be able to travel when necessary.
