Financial Controller (Reporting, MI, Processes, Controls, Hyperion)
CONTRACT - £500 PER DAY - HAMPSHIRE - 5 months initial - IMMEDIATE START
I am looking for a Senior Finance Professional (A Degree Educated, Qualified Accountant) to lead a team of 5 through a significant reporting upheaval at my Client site
To be successful, you will immediately support the business with the following
- Write a business plan which will form the basis of Management Information packs
- Conduct an earnings, working capital levels, net debt and sensitivities analysis
- Build valuation (DCF) & earnings models.
- Create Reports on current forecast, KPIs, business trends, risks, working capital, and other items
- Manipulate large quantities of data using advanced Excel and VBA
Other responsibilities include:
- Establish robust financial controls to cover the processes
- Support the implementation of strategy for the business
- Effective management of financial transaction processes
- Management and production of appropriate financial reporting
- Management of financial planning processes
- Support business leaders to ensure effective financial decision making
- Manage team on day to day basis providing support, guidance and direction to resolve issues.
- Drive and deliver team engagement
- Collaborate with the business to ensure that financial processes and systems are fit for purpose
- Develop deliver and manage financial initiatives and continuous improvement across the business
- Manage relationships with external stakeholders
Desired knowledge and experience
- Significant Senior Finance role experience
- Resilient, able to drive change, proactive
- Corporate finance experience
- Organised, plans ahead, delivery of results to tight deadlines
- Telecom/Media background
