Cognos Engineer
Currently one of my top clients is seeking a Cognos Engineer who will join their team in Amsterdam, Netherlands on a long term contract position.
You will be working in a platform squad consisting of five DevOps engineers and three data analysts from business-side. The squad is focused on establishing and managing Cognos Analytics. In addition, you give advice to advice to the various users of the BI tooling within our area around frameworks and reporting within Cognos. You can and will contribute to the migration to Cognos BI
Required skills and experience:
- Several years of experience with full stack Cognos (Analytics)
- Experience with Continuous Integration/Delivery specialist BI tooling
- Experience with Cognos (Analytics) full stack
- Experience with Cognos BI tooling next (Business Objects) full stack
- Experience in setting up monitoring with the ELK (Elasticsearch/Logstash/Kibana) stack BI tooling
- Experience with performance management stack, application framework and reporting skills
- Leader in engineering skills
- Experience in Agile/Scrum environment
- Well informed of developments in the operations area in the market
Nice to haves:
- Experience with informal leadership
- Experience with building frameworks and reports in Cognos.
- Experience with designing predictive monitoring
- Experience with designing predictive capacity management
- Various programming languages, such as Python & SQL.
- Experience with ETL tooling (DataStage)
