Security Engineer - SC CLeared - Brussels - £400 - £500 per day 6 months
My client islooking for a Secuirty Engineer to work on their Space programe This is an exciting opportunity to play a part in bringing Europe's new satellite navigation system, into operational use.
Key tasks will include:
. Contribute to the service documentation management and review;
. Contribute to the service evolution in the security domain;
. Contribute to the provision of service user segment inputs to the System-specific Security Requirements Statement (SSRS);
. Follow up the initial services implementation and validation activities;
. Analysing the initial services operations phase
. Support to the review and update the service security requirements and documentation;
. Support to the analysis of security aspects
Essential knowledge and experience:
At least two years of experience in:
. security engineering in at least one of the areas of security design, operations and implementation
. national or international security policy, processes or procedures
. defining/enforcing technical security requirements, specifications and instructions and/or security risk assessment and accreditation activities.
. management and handling of classified documentation
Clear evidence of the following:
. Experience in the development and delivery of the specified security artefacts;
. Experience in consultancy engagements;
You must hold SC Clearance, or a European Equivalent, for this role.
You must be
. proficient in (written and spoken) English
. Capable of picking up new concepts quickly, as the system is large and complicated;
. Working to exacting standards and to agreed timescales as part of a team;
Desirable knowledge and experience:
. One or more of the following professional certifications: CISSP, GCIH, GCIA, CEH, Security+
. Experience of working in the space sector
