Management Accountant - Cost base/compliance Experience
A Management Accountant with experience of Cost Base > is required to work on a twelve month contract, with the possibility of extension for our Defence >client based in Portsmouth
This is a Management Accountants role working on a 12 month defence contract.
Overview of the Management Accountant contract role
The candidate will be required to conduct Cost base inputs into the MMR process. Also carry out detailed commentaries and also input to the monthly accounts reviews, variance analysis and understanding of key drivers. Co-ordinating, reviewing and challenging the Operations function IBP liaising with budget holders, functional heads and providing an output for review by the LT
Key skills required for the Management Accountant
- Cost Base experience
- Experience of Governance and assurance of the functional cost base to ensure compliance with internal and external laws and regs
- Previous experience of detailed commentaries
- Qualified to one of the following (ACA/CIMA/ACCA) or equivalent is preferable
The role is based in Portsmouth, Hampshire - commutable from Southampton, Cowes, Isle of Wight, Salisbury, Winchester, Andover, Basingstoke, Guildford, Aldershot, Crawley, Horsham, Brighton, Worthing, Chichester
