Description
We are seeking a Commissioning Engineer in planning, implementation and documentation of the installation, supervision and commissioning process within a new build Biomass plant.Key responsibilities
- Ensure planning, implementation and documentation of the commissioning process in the assigned technical area.
- Day-to-day involvement in toolbox meetings, coordination and documentation of the commissioning work within the defined technical area.
- Ensure that commissioning within the defined technical area is executed effectively; and on time.
- Ensure that the work is in compliance with the project HSE rules and local legislation.
- Ensure that tests are carried out and that commissioning work is documented (ITP).
- Participate in the preparation of manuals and test documentation for the plants including all SAT and FAT.
- Participate in review, preparation and coordination of detailed commissioning schedules.
- Perform day-to-day installation/commissioning assigned tasks.
- Control that tests are carried out and documented.
- Participate in witnessing of FAT, depend on schedule.
- SAT - report deviations/troubles to the package manager of the equipment.
- Participate in the preparation of snagging lists.
- Ensure that the necessary safety signs/notices, barriers and other safety measures are implemented on a day-to-day basis during commissioning.
- Engineer or marine engineer with a minimum of 5 years' experience with commissioning of large biomass plants.
- Must have experience of commissioning the following gasification, gas turbines, boilers, steam handling, air cooled condensers, heat exchangers, gas filtration, gas treatment, feed water plant, C&I, grid connections, transformers, HV/LV switchgear & panels, utilities, connections to existing utilities, ash handling, bag filters, noise & emissions monitoring & control with testing within and Energy From Waste or Biomass plants.
- Have a solid knowledge of English - written and spoken.
