Interim Procurement Consultant (Data Protection/GDPR)
Location: Greater Manchester
Duration/Date Rate: 6 to 9 months/£
Sanderson Recruitment is working on behalf of a dynamic and reputable financial services provider to identify an experienced Procurement Consultant who will support a Senior Procurement Consultant to ensure that all 3rd party contracts are updated to be compliant with GDPR prior to the regulation coming into effect in May 2018.
The Procurement Consultant will demonstrate strong commercial/contractual variation experience and ideally have exposure of data protection or data transfer. Experienced gained within complex and regulated financial services organisations is highly sought after.
Key Responsibility
- Support contract negotiations with 3rd parties for the inclusion of GDPR specific contract clauses
- Ensure internal contract owners are fully engaged and are brief on the requirements to update existing contracts
- Ensure internal legal team are engage as required to support update to existing contracts
