Service characteristics- Title: Supply Chain Management Consulting & Design Lead
- Location: Sant Cugat
- Period: 7 months
- Desired start date: 1st of September 17
- Travel : 20 %, every 3-4 weeks 3-4 days in Mannheim. Very rarely in Basel.
Service description
- Working with the Business to translate complex business requirements into solutions and procedures meeting current business, customer and technical requirements, while observing defined financial requirements.
- Manage consulting portfolio to drive synergies and maximize value
- Promote and enable innovation and IT and Business agility
- Measure realization of value improvement targets within Supply Chain and Planning
- Manage business releases and projects
- Acts as an escalation level for IT incidents in the area of Supply Chain Management and Planning
Requisites
- Bachelor's degree or higher in business, IT or numerate disciplines
- Total 6+ years' experience within Supply Chain Management and Planning including leading project teams and innovation/change initiatives.
- Broad and strong experience in the SAP ECC modules MM/SD/SCM as well as integration points between other SAP modules. Detailed technical background is a plus.
- Knowledge in SAP MDG & SAP Information Steward is a plus
- Thorough understanding of Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) business processes as well as good understanding of customer's business model and IT opportunities and threats
- Experience in Supply Chain Management and Planning application development
- Proven ability to lead professional teams
- Strong influencing and communication skills
- Capable of working in an international environment with virtual team
