Description

Our client is seeking to recruit a temporary Quality Assurance Associate (QA Operations).

Reporting to the Qualified Person, the Quality Assurance Associate will support the batch certification process for finished product.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Support the Qualified Person with the Batch Certification function.
  • Prepare and review batch documentation packages for QP release as per SOP requirements.
  • Ensure that all work carried out follows the required standards conforming to SOPs, regulatory regulations and guidelines, and Quality Agreements.
  • Identify and make recommendations for improvements to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Assist in the preparation for regulatory inspections.
  • Perform additional team tasks as agreed to support effective running of the function.
  • Develop and update SOPs and controlled documents ie FORMS, as required.
  • Participate in site activities associated with the QMS (eg, Change Control, Self-Inspections, Quality Agreements updates, Complaints, Product Quality Record Reviews) as required.
  • Assist in New Product Introduction Activities, as required.
  • Provide training, as required.
A degree in science, engineering or related discipline is essential. Experience within the biopharmaceutical industry is desirable.

The successful candidate will be required to work on his/her own initiative in addition to working as part of a team. You must demonstrate excellent time management and organisational skills and have the ability to prioritise; along with a proven track record to multi-task. You will be flexible and will be able to adapt within a changing environment, and have excellent oral and written communication and planning skills.
