Description
Spring Technology are currently working with a large financial organisation based in Telford, looking for a Financial Modeller to join them on an initial 6 month contract, with the option to extend. The client are looking for someone to start as soon as possible.
The Role
To manage departmental delivery of objectives to the Finance Manager and relevant internal and external customers in all aspects of financial responsibility. To deliver operational process improvement and change management within the department and across functionally. Ensure service agreements are met by leading and developing finance relationships and managing resources. Responsibilities to include management of direct and indirect staff and operational financial challenge. Ensure all job objectives are completed in accordance with the company's TCF and Governance culture.
Skills and experience required
* Agile environments
* Analyse and Produce Models
* Experience of working within a regulatory environment
* Experience in implementation of new financial systems and/or processes
* Experience of system interrogation
* Experience in staff management
* Communicates effectively, including written and oral presentation, engaging customers and stakeholders
* Demonstrates good organisational skills, with an analytical and methodical approach to work
* Ability to work very well in a team or independently, consulting and engaging others appropriately in the wider function and business.
