Employment Tax Consultant
We are currently looking to speak with Employment Tax Consultant who have extensive retail banking experience in the UK. This is a great opportunity to join a large retail bank going through a vast amount of change and experiencing high demand.
Tax Consultant Responsibilities;
- Manage, develop and motivate colleagues to create a high performing team to deliver business objectives.
- Act as a senior source of professional expertise and input into the development of Finance policy.
- Lead the implementation of medium term operational plans in the context of the strategic direction.
- Provide insightful information, guidance and advice to influence business decisions
- Build and maintain a cross functional internal network to optimise business results
Tax Consultant capabilities/knowledge:
- In depth knowledge of the legislative requirements and practice relating to the Group's obligations.
- Ability to build effective working relationships with executive and senior management and to take a proactive and constructive approach to business developments and initiatives.
- Excellent leadership, management and organisational skills.
- The job holder requires strong skills in negotiation, leadership, task and process management and good IT skills
- Excellent oral and written skills with an ability to communicate and influence at all levels.
- High level of credibility throughout the businesses advised
- Maturity and credibility to present the Group's case and negotiate its position with H M Treasury, H M Revenue and Customs, trade bodies and external advisors.
