Case Handler Team Leader - Financial Services

Main responsibilities
- Lead a team of Complaint Reviewers and Case Analysts to ensure the case reviews are completed on a timely basis and in accordance with the agreed methodology.
- Review the completed case reviews against the evidence on file, challenge issues where appropriate and request further information if required.
- Sign off and agree the recommended outcomes put forward by the team and challenge the outcome if appropriate.
- Carry out complex complaint case reviews as requested.
- Arrange and facilitate strategy review meetings for complex complaint reviews and where appropriate escalate issues to senior project stakeholders.
- Achieve team targets, in terms of both qualitive and quantitative standards
- Act as a liaison and point of escalation for the team
- Drive the management of Conduct Risk requirements to meet the group's conduct risk policies and the expectations of the regulator.
- Deputise for project board members as required.
- Collaborate and work transparently with all stakeholders.
- Act as a subject matter expert to the team, advising team members and providing a high level of commercial insight, objectivity, values and fairness.
The Ideal Candidate
- Experience within a strong leadership, including managing a team within a project environment
- Strong forensic analysis and report writing skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work efficiently to strong deadlines
- Experience within financial services, credit, risk or restructuring
- Audit/review skills
