Obsolescence Engineer - Defence
A Obsolescence Engineer is required to work on a three month contract, with the possibility of extension for our Defence client based in Portsmouth

Overview of the Obsolescence Engineer contract role
To undertake a defined range of Obsolescence engineering activities in line with all relevant processes and quality requirements. Process reactive and proactive obsolescence issues including managing the configuration and change control aspects of the OM process.
Key skills required for the Obsolescence Engineer
- knowledge of BS 62402
- Have knowledge of Defence processes in the Design Support arena
- Knowledge of specialist tools, Systems and processes, Such as AVCOM, Haystack,
GIDEP, DMSMS, Tomcat, E-Force
- Ability to conduct technical reviews to ensure product viability
The role is based in Portsmouth, Hampshire - commutable from Southampton, Cowes, Isle of Wight, Salisbury, Winchester, Andover, Basingstoke, Guildford, Aldershot, Crawley, Horsham, Brighton, Worthing, Chichester
