Market Risk Manager - Regulatory - Banking
Based in London a Market Risk Manager is required on a contract basis to work on a major regulatory programme within the Banking sector.
This is an great opportunity to join a leading edge and long term programme of work which does offer an excellent working environment, including the potential to work from home.
You'll be required to provide market risk management, analysis, regulatory compliance, as well regulatory return, and assist with the review of policies & procedures.
Candidates must have a good understanding of Market Risk Metrics (VaR, SVaR, IRC, RNIV and greeks).
My client is also looking for someone who's strong with data manipulation of large data sets, including SQL to extract data and someone who can think on their feet.
It's essential that candidates are proficient in Microsoft excel including VBA and a proven ability to work towards deadlines.
You will be required to build relationships with stakeholders so strong interpersonal and communication skills are required.
Ideally candidates need to have basic product knowledge and a good regulatory banking background.
