My client a leading global firm is in urgent need of a talented and experienced Senior Business Analyst to join their client site in Shannon for ongoing projects.
Candidates will be responsible for translating high-level business requirements on multiple, complex applications into detailed functional specifications and if necessary, for managing requests for changes to the specifications. You will assist the business in developing technical strategy, determining which business requirements can and should be automated, and defining how to integrate with other business and technical processes. Candidates will maintain functional peer relationships and detailed working knowledge of the assigned area's systems, organisation, and business processes. You will be responsible for ensuring that the functional requirement is clearly communicated to the development and user acceptance testing (UAT) teams and that the solution is delivered and tested as required (first time right). It will be expected that you complete documentation and executes the process in line with Customer's IT Project Methodology. You will be working with business stakeholders to gather business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements. Facilitating planning sessions, creating testing scenarios, developing testing plans and creating user and system documentation.
Successful candidate will have at least 5+ years in a Business Analyst role. You will have experience in business process engineering and well versed with software development life cycle, including analysis, design, development, testing and implementation of software applications. Candidates will have experience in conducting requirement analysis, use case design & designing test plans. Fair knowledge of UML tools applied for developing Use Case Diagrams, Activity and Sequence diagrams. You will have basic Qualifications which will include strong analytical skills that help in analysing data, information, and draw conclusions. You will have good research capabilities, which helps in collecting the most authentic and relevant data that further helps improve the relevancy of the analysis. Mandatory Skills will be experience in business process engineering and well versed with software development life cycle, including analysis, design, development, testing and implementation of software applications.
