SAP P2P/R2R Consultant - Suffolk - 4 months+
My client currently has an urgent 4 month contract opportunity for an SAP P2P/R2R Consultant to be based in Suffolk.
The chosen candidate will be need to have immediate availability as well as experience relevant to the job specification detailed below:
Primarily responsible in the area of Financial Information, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable & Receivable, Assets, Tax, Financial and Management reporting, the Business Analyst will:
- Engineer sound business processes which complement the company strategy, both locally and at a group level. Work with IT staff to design and implement information systems which support these business processes
- Project manage system changes through design, construction, delivery, training and support phases
- Maximize the benefit gained from company IT systems through regular review of system capabilities
- To review requirements and deliver user training
- To provide essential liaison with other IT. functions ensuring the spread of best practice.
Responsibilities:
- Working with Senior Managers to design sound business processes which complement the company strategy, both locally and at a group level
- Assist line managers in preparing their staff for changes in systems, procedures and organisation.
- Co-ordinate the activities design, development, system testing, training and user support (working with other members of the IT team and business users) to ensure smooth and effective implementation of new functionality.
- Develop and deliver effective education and training programmes to all levels of business user, ensuring high levels of competence.
- Encourage and motivate users to make best use of the system facilities in order to maximise the benefits to the business.
- To monitor IT industry trends and identify where opportunities arise for new systems or enhancements to existing systems.
- Work with site staff to ensure the systems are used as envisaged at the design stage and fully meet business/users requirements.
- Ensure all policies, standards and IT best practice are adhered to.
