Management Accountant - Hertfordshire
We are looking for a Management Accountant to join a finance team within an industry leading manufacturer of bespoke high end special purpose machinery. This is initially on a rolling contract basis with a view to go permanent. Applicants should be professional and have an accountancy qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA Part Qualified).
The Role
- Project reporting and monthly project analysis
- Inventory monitoring and review
- Full responsibility for invoicing in relation to projects on the ERP system
- Financial analysis of month end numbers
- Posting material and labour project adjustments - including posting purchase ledger vouchers
- Assisting other members on the team with workload where required.
Experience and Skills
Essential:
- Experienced in aspects of all ledgers
- Excellent Microsoft Excel skills and ability to use fomulas
- ERP Systems - Extraction and analysis of data
- Experience in preparation of Profit and Loss and Balance sheets
- Reliable and able to work to tight deadlines
- Highly numerate
- Knowledge of complex computerised accounting packages
Desirable:
- Experience of an ERP system
- Experience of the manufacturing industry
- Project Accounting
