Project Manager - Agile/Software Delivery - Contract
Client is a leading FINANCIAL SERVICES/Fintech/Wealth Platform looking for Project Managers to be responsible for the end-to-end management of projects and leading a distributed project team across multiple locations.
Responsibilities will include:
*managing the delivery of the project through the full life cycle
*may involve the delivery of a single large scale project (up to £1m) or multiple smaller projects
*developing and maintaining the project plan and agreeing scope and timelines with all parts of the business
*providing project MI to the Head of Delivery and Account Directors
*identifying and managing risks, issues, assumptions and dependencies and taking ownership for the mitigation plans, estimating process and operational readiness
*leading, managing and motivating a virtual team in multiple geographic locations
*providing coaching, advice and support performance management with line managers
*being an active member of the PM community, contributing to team sessions and improvement initiatives and sharing best practice.
To be considered for the role you MUST HAVE the following:
Be willing and able to work on a permanent basis in Brno, Czech Republic
*Significant experience in leading the technical delivery of IT projects.
*SDLC knowledge essential.
*Degree qualified or equivalent experience.
*PMP, PRINCE 2, Scrum master certified - desirable.
*Agile, Lean, DevOps experience - desirable.
*Expert in Microsoft Project
*Resilient and a self-starter; able to work independently in a fast paced environment.
*Enjoys a personal challenge and strives to succeed/improve.
*Good communication skills both verbal and written in English.
*Experience of managing senior project stakeholders.
