Cash & Balance Sheet Manager - Buckinghamshire - Contract
Day Rate: £flexible/negotiable
Location: Buckinghamshire
Term: 3 months initially
Sopra Steria Recruitment are now looking for a Cash & Forecasting Manager to join a large organisation in Buckinghamshire for an initial 3 month contract.
We are looking for a qualified (CIMA or ACCA) finance professional who has strong cash forecasting experience to create a culture of more accurate cash forecasting lead by the commercial and operational leaders in the business.
The successful applicant will be comfortable presenting to various stakeholders within the organisation alongside proven team management experience.
Key responsibilities are:-
- Delivery of end-to-end cash budgeting & forecasting
- Liaise with Group Treasury team for cash highs & lows
- Own the balance sheet controls process
- Create a culture of cash understanding and ownership throughout the business
- Manage the process to produce an accurate cash budget & forecast that provides clarity on our financial cash position and how this links to profit and BS while highlighting and recommending ways to improve our liquidity
- Be the primary contact with the Group Treasury team for cash highs & lows to ensure our cash requirements are fully understood and met
- Manage the Weekly cash reporting with key insight produced on a timely and accurate basis
- Ensure great balance sheet controls and compliance is adhered each period end and to summarise this period performance through a monthly meeting and risks and opportunities schedule
- Manage the period end process and preparation of relevant management accounts pages that analyse the BS and Cash position of the company vs forecast and prior period/year actuals
- Create a culture of cash understanding and ownership throughout the business
- Manage and develop a team of 3 in the achievement of the above.
