Our client, a leading organisation is looking for an experienced Fiance Analyst to support the pricing team in analysing competitor financial positions.
By understanding competitors' financial drivers the analyst will provide insight to the team and the wider business helping them understand future retail market developments.
The financial analysis must be able to sift through large amount of publicly available data to gain insight in to retail market competitors strategies.
Skills required
- Proven Financial Analyst background
- Utilities/Telecom/Energy industry background
- Experienced working with complex data
- Ability to both inside-out and outside-in analysis to the team, looking beyond the surface to understand if and what disruptions might occur in the retail market and what might drive incumbent players.
- The analyst will be able to effectively communicate these insights across wide areas of the business
- Modelling multiple scenarios and presenting third party strategic choices to senior stakeholders is a key consideration for the area
- Strong Excel and VBA skills are a must
