Description
Harvey Nash's client is recruiting for a Finance Business Partner on an initial 9 week contract, starting as soon as possible.
Working within a small team, the post holder will focus on supporting budget holders in the financial management of externally funded projects, primarily research and knowledge exchange grants and contracts. You will also be Interpreting, preparing and communicating financial and non-financial information for a variety of stakeholders, and ensuring the timely recovery and correct accounting of external income due to the organisation.
Essential skills:
* Experience of Financial Management or relevant qualification.
* Experience in the analysis, preparation and control of both income and expenditure budgets.
* Experience of using financial accounting software for maintaining, entering and reporting complex financial data and transactions.
* Experience of interpreting, preparing and communicating financial reports to a variety of stakeholders, utilising a high level of competency with Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel
