Senior Test Analyst/Senior QA Consultant. Solid Telecom ( BSS) experience is a must......
Our client is looking for a senior test specialist to join a new program, this follows a complete transformation/set up of the BSS and OSS environment. In particular we are interested in talking with 'career' testers, consultants who have worked in a testing capacity within Telecom ( mobile ) for a number of years and who have experience of E2E testing & test analysis...( ie/to cover billing/CRM/finance etc).
The role will centre around reviewing the test cases which the vendors are proposing, and finding/highlighting any shortfall/gaps in their scenarios/proposal - essentially reviewing the list of cases to ensure that those cases would cover all of the requirements. Where such gaps exist you will be required to write the new cases.
This is a role that will suit someone who is proactive, you will need to have a 'consulting' mentality, wanting to & able to drill down into the vendors proposition, dig into the project plan/requirement and ascertain what gaps there are.
Initially the role will be for 3 months, with a very high chance that this will extend into a 12mth role.
In summary you should have; minimum of 5 years solid testing experience within a telecom environment, with a strong emphasis towards the BSS side...With good functional testing knowledge coupled with the ability to write test cases, good English skills ( clear communication/documentation ) and ideally previous experience of working on a total transformation project in a test capacity.
