Finance Analyst - Liquidity Reporting - Investment Banking

Overview
Pontoon Solutions are currently recruiting for a Finance Analyst for Liquidity Reporting for an Investment Bank based in Canary Wharf. This role will be responsible for the Coordination of the monthly production of the Liquidity Coverage ratio. The LCR's are produced by an offshore team in India and provided to London based teams to ensure its timely and accurate delivery.
Responsibilities
- Ensuring LCR's are cross checked and reconciles to source systems
- Delivery of client focused supporting analytical analysis for review and sign off meetings
- Coordination with the India team of the clearance of review points, etc
- Coordination with the India team to assist in planning for busy reporting cycles
- Delivery of reporting improvements and efficiencies for LCR reporting requirements.
- Data Quality review and improvements
- Ownership of a robust control environment including checklists and ongoing review
- Supporting the liquidity reporting manager and providing cover as applicable
Skills and Experience Required
- Good understanding of Liquidity Returns particularly Liquidity Coverage Ratios
- Fully Qualified Accountant
- Strong Process Improvement Skills
- Deep understanding of Trading Products (Secured Financing, Treasury, Prime Brokerage in particular) and how they impact the Liquidity Returns
- Advanced Excel Skills
- Update to date on Liquidity Regulation/Good understanding of the Delegated Act
- Experience of working in a Top Tier Bank
