Pontoon Solutions, on behalf of a household retail client are currently recruiting for a Finance Lead for Capital Investment. This role will be the finance lead for the Group's International Capital investment planning, reporting and post investment review processes, having visibility of investment plans and strategy across the Group.
Responsibilities
- As a finance manager you will act as a key finance advisor for the Group to help develop tactical and strategic Capital Investment plans and support key decisions to deliver value for the business
- Reviewing KPI's/key reports (including Capital Management accounts and forecasts) and by working with the finance/operations/commercial teams analyse and prepare commentary on the drivers of performance for the business leadership teams
- Build and maintain key stakeholder relationships to ensure you remain fully appraised of developments which impact the Capital forecast - working collaboratively with business units finance teams to produce and explain Capital expenditure forecasts
- Lead the Capital Post Investment Review process for the Group and champion the Group's Capital Governance processes
- Working collaboratively with stakeholders to critically review and prepare Capital business cases
- Working collaboratively with international stakeholders to prepare the strategic capital plan to ensure all KPIs are clearly understood
- Supporting the Group reporting function with statutory disclosures for Capital
Skills and Experience
- Qualified Accountant
- An analytical mind-set and attention to detail
- Capital reporting and Forecasting
- Strong management reporting skills
- Excellent project management skills
- Good system skills (Oracle and Hyperion). Strong excel skills and experience of modelling an advantage
- To be able to develop stakeholder working relationships
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Collaborative, team player, able to work autonomously when necessary
