Description
Interim Financial Controller required for London based property development client.
12 month contract
paying £75-90K
starting December 17 Candidates will need to be qualified ACA/CIMA/ACCA accountants with a minimum of 5 years PQE ideally gained within the Real Estate industry.
Duties and responsibilities are listed below.
Finance
- Monthly/Annual cashflow forecasts
- Review Group cash requirements
- Organise shareholder funding loan agreements and necessary documentation
- Prepare and issue shareholder funding drawdowns
- Organise quarterly shareholder funding repayments
- Review dividend payments within the group
Accounting
- Budgeting reviews with Finance Assistant & CEO
- Monthly/ad hoc payment authorisations (if required)
- Calculations of geared rent for headlessor (5MSQ/4MSQ/3MSQ)
- Prepare annual overheads budget
- Management accounting re. overheads Profit vs. Actual
- Development Management fee calculations - annual estimates and year end actuals
- Maintain schedule of sales for Canalside Walk and update bookkeeping on QuickBooks
- Review year end bookkeeping on QuickBooks and post journal entries as required for annual accounts preparation
- Liaise with Mark Hooton on final accounts and QuickBooks preparation
- Manage audit/Independent review process with external accountants and respond to queries
- File statutory accounts at Companies House
Tax
- Draft annual tax computations/returns - corporation tax and partnership tax
- Instruct Capital Allowances reports and maintain details for tax returns
- Respond to ad hoc tax queries - VAT, CIS
- Review monthly/quarterly VAT reports prepared by Accounts Assistant
- Forecast tax due on main entities particularly 5 Merchant Square
- Tax restructuring
- Tax enquiries
