Senior BI developer within Power BI #
Copenhagen, Denmark
Start Date: ASAP/Duration: 5 months

Role
We have a contract opportunity for a Senior BI developer within Power BI for a project for our client in Copenhagen, Denmark.
Responsibilities:
- To be the driving force transforming the users reporting requirements into dashboards and reports in Power BI
- Meet with business stakeholders to clarify and document reporting requirements
- Design, implement and develop reporting and analytics solutions in Power BI
- Design, implement and develop data visualizations
Required skills/experience:
- Strong BI background and experience of dealing with developing large scale complex reports
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft reporting stack (focus on Power BI and Azure SQL respectively)
- Report development using Microsoft tools (Power BI/Azure SQL)
- Strong SSIS, SSRS skills within a Business Intelligence environment
- Proven capability of delivering optimized SSIS packages within a BI environment
- Business process mapping and documentation
- Requirement management
- Knowledge Management Reporter
- Experience of working as a developer within a business intelligence, data and/or analytics team
- Experience in a variety of analytical methods such as comparison, contribution, correlation, frequency, key metric, ranking, variance and trend analysis
- Ability to demonstrate Power BI solutions and train end users in using Power BI
- Business Analysis experience (including - definition of requirements using appropriate methods; conversion of requirements into technical specification for developers)
- Experience working with large, disparate data sets
- Cloud technologies (Azure in particular)
- Business process mapping and documentation
- Solid experience of using Power BI to deliver Business Intelligence analytics
- Analytical, flexible and prepared to support in areas outside of assignment
- Interest to understand the requirements in the process, take responsibility and own drive to get things done
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to simplify and manage complex requirements

The contract has an initial duration of 5 months, with likelihood of extensions.
