I am currently for a Communications Business Partner to join a governmental client of ours on an initial 6 months contract, based in Nottingham.
Key tasks and deliverables
- Use customer insight to help develop and implement communication plans to support the delivery of work within the agency's Lifetime of safe driving strategy
- Attend and/or arrange meetings with communications colleagues and business officials to effectively plan communications and engagement with target audiences.
- Provide advice and guidance to senior managers on the best communications approach eg use of social media, digital, development of marketing products to enhance the impact of communications
- Support the planning, development and delivery of DVSA's key strategic communications plans, campaigns and products' within their assigned business area.
- Provide a highly-responsive communications service to assist the effective operation of DVSA's services and promote the agency's vision, priorities and policies.
- Ensure all communications activity is insight-driven and fully evaluated.
- Experience in planning, developing and implementing communications campaigns to achieve clear communications objectives based on audience insight and data.
- Experience of evaluating communications campaigns against agreed performance indicators.
- Good verbal and written communications skills.
- The ability to write clearly and simply, using Plain English. The ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
- Experience of delivering communication campaigns desirable
- Experience of evaluating communications activities
- Experienced in using social media and other digital channels in carrying out external communications campaigns
