Senior IT Business Analyst (Brexit Strategy)

6 Month Rolling Contract

Premium Market Rate

Dublin

Identify, define and document business/systems requirements and functional requirements for a range of applications (Front End, Middleware, Back End) in line with business strategy. Build in-depth understanding of products, processes and systems to support business strategy execution end-to-end.

Applicants must also have reinsurance or rebranding experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with both business and IT teams to understand and document required application changes as a consequence of Brexit strategy
  • Build effective working relationships with business partners and across the project team at all levels to aid effective collaboration and communication
  • Ensure solutions are consistent with operational and technology best practice
  • Support applications development teams and test teams throughout the application change process
  • Review test strategy and test documentation to ensure it complies with agreed requirements and overall Brexit strategy
  • Support business and test team during test phase with defect triage process

Experience Required:

  • 5+ years full project/application life cycle experience in a similar position required
  • Demonstrated understanding and experience in Re-insurance or Finance systems/reporting projects
  • Prior experience working in an International environment
  • Accreditation from a recognized Insurance Institute
