Description

Leading Bank are looking to hire a Risk Manager with experience working in Insurance and client communication. The role of Risk Manager sits within the Communications Workstream of the project, and the candidate will be responsible for ensuring that regulatory requirements are included in the delivery of the new statements.

Key Requirements:

  • Good knowledge of the UK financial services marketplace and can show how they keep up to date with regulatory requirements
  • Demonstrable experience of risk/compliance roles that support the life, pensions and investments arena
  • A good understanding of the mandatory communications that need to be sent to customers
  • It would help to have good knowledge of the rules for Financial Promotions, but the work involved is to support product/transaction servicing communications only
  • Analytical and enquiring mind
  • Team player but has to have an ability to work on own initiative and challenge/escalate where required
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple work packages, deadlines and competing priorities
  • Ability to engage with and influence stakeholders across business functions
  • Knowledge of heritage (Legacy) pensions and investment products business and their features and charges
  • Risk, Compliance and Regulatory Management - ensures that risks are identified, managed and escalated where appropriate. Compliance with all relevant risk measures, internal policies and processes.
