QRM Developer - HSBC
This is a 6 month contract based in London
Role Purpose
To meet increasing regulatory demands significant change will be required to the IRRBB & ALM Stress Testing architecture and processes to ensure new regulatory reporting requirements can be met. A key component of this architecture is the Quantitative Risk Management third party calculation engine, QRM which is used to calculation the Interest Rate Risk metrics. The scope of this role is to provide QRM developer capabilities for the on-going configuration and enhancement of the QRM system to ensure it continues to meet the regulatory demands and internal risk management needs of ALCM
Knowledge & Experience/Qualifications
Technical Skill Requirements
- Proven understanding and experience of development within the Quantitative Risk Management QRM tool set.
- A solid IRRBB reporting knowledge
- An understanding of change delivery life cycles and delivery methodologies
- A strong appreciation of systems and data architectures, specifically in a finance environment
- Excellent analysis skills, with ability to structure problems and find solutions
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, Project)
Educational Requirements
- Educated to minimum of degree level or equivalent professional qualification
Personal Skill Requirements
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
- Mature and independent - able to work with little supervision
- Ability to professionally and effectively present information and respond to questions from all levels of management
- Proficiency in creatively problem solving
- A self-starter with excellent written/verbal communication skills

- Team player able to manage conflict and conflicting priorities
Experience
- Financial Services Project Experience across both internal reporting and regulatory requirements, with solid experience of QRM Development
- Experience in change management, driven by IT systems implementation or enhancement, across a large organisation
- Track record of successful delivery
- Experience of working in a large, global banking organisation
