SAP PP/MM/CS Business Analyst - Devon, UK - Start: 15th January Month+ Contract. End Client.
Our End Client in Devon, UK is looking for an SAP PP/MM-PTP/CS (Production Planning/Purchasing/
Customer Service) Business Analyst/Functional SAP Consultant for the Manufacturing and Customer service (In-house repair and Refurbishment) domains, for its SAP programme.
The clients SAP implementation project has the following objectives:
* Integrate and standardize processes defined by the global template
* Provide one unified ERP platform (SAP) to replace local IT solutions
* Build transparency into business process and system operation.
As SAP Consultant, you will focus both on the operational and project-related support of SAP Procurement and Logistics applications (mainly PP, CS modules). You maintain relations with super-users, process owners, key users, SAP suppliers, project teams and your IT colleagues. You will assess the consequences of SAP project results on the solution, define scenarios for change requests and incidents and monitor the use of SAP directives, SAP standards and working procedures.
You will contribute to a successful SAP project result via active participation, determining the requirements, facilitating realization, test and implementation and you will support the SAP users in the procurement and logistics area.
Area of responsibility
* Management of Manufacturing and Repair parts of the SAP project from detailed specification and economics, through development to implementation.
* Review and execute System integration testing.
* Create and execute data migration scripts using Winshuttle and/or LSMW.
* Prepare and execute cutover plan.
* Provide post Go-Live support.
* Performing the cooperation with the SAP solution providers
* Continuously analysing data and business requirements in order to improve client's SAP utilization
* Responsible for the SAP integrated technical solution including the other functional area's so you need to consider integration issues with your colleagues.
* Identify impact to SAP Template of proposed improvements and enhancement requests.
* Provide SAP and process design consultancy to customers to develop and ensure the integrity and continued fitness-for-purpose of the SAP solution.
Scope of work
* Participate in the SAP implementation project with special focus on manufacturing and repair (in-house repair and refurbishment processes).
* Implement the roll-out of the manufacturing and repair SAP functions
* Monitor the use of SAP, changed business requirements and development of new technology for continuous system improvement
* Assist the Support team to determine whether support requests constitute a change or an impact to the integrity of the solution.
* Translate business requirements into proposed SAP technical solutions.
