Sopra Steria Recruitment is working in partnership with a major public sector client in the UK. We are currently recruiting a Financial Accountant based in London for 3 months contract initially with possible extension.
Essential Skills and Experience
- Fully qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIPFA or CIMA);
- Significant experience of International Financial Reporting Standards;
- Strong technical accounting skills;
- Experience of accounting systems;
- Excellent Excel skills;
- Excellent presentational skills.
Desirable Skills and Experience
- Preparation or audit of Central Government/public sector set of accounts;
- Strong internal control and compliance skills;
- Knowledge or willingness to learn about operating with an Oracle based RM system in a shared service environment.
