My client a Major insurer required a Commercial Claims Technician to start immediately, the two areas that the business need most of the help in are:
1.Operational Claims
LOB's: Specialty, Commercial, Reinsurance
Key tasks include: Task triage/allocation, New claims set-up, Binder and bordereaux management (data review, authority thresholds review, reconcile bordereaux information and discrepancies, data entry), Claims processing, Payment processing, Third party query management, Claims reporting, system administration
2.Contract certainty Support
LOB's: Specialty, Commercial, Reinsurance
Key tasks include: Perform complete the contract certainty checks on sample risks, Enter data of these checks, Complete the audit checklist, Scan and send updated checklists
Key Skills/Experience Required:
*6-10 years of experience in UK and European Insurance and Financial Services. At least 2-3 years of experience/exposure to London Market Specialty, Commercial and Re-insurance operations (preferably in claims management) - could be in the form of consulting projects, managing operations, TPA support
*Should have had exposure insurance systems experience (Genuis, Claims Center, Mu etc.)
*Broad understanding of UK and European insurance regulation and compliance
*Experience of use of Robotics and AI in Commercial Specialty, Re-insurance operations
*Experience of interpreting clients strategic, operational and external drivers for change
*Professional UK Insurance qualification (ACII etc.) is desirable
*Preferred knowledge of re-insurance accounting
