1. Description of domains:3.1. Operational DWH
- Contains a subset of the majority of the Bank's operational data.
- End-users access the data by means of a reporting tool (SAP BusinessObjects 4.1). Also used as a source of information for third party tools (e.g. analytics, risk management tools).
- The Data Warehouse (DW) fed by various operational databases using using the ETL tool IBM Infosphere Datastage 11.3.
- The documentation of the business terms is done using IBM Information Governance Catalog and the data quality is managed through IBM Information Analyser and IBM Qualitystage
- About 6000 Datastage jobs run on a daily basis within nightly batches to generate the daily situation, and approx. 5000 jobs run once a month to generate the End of month figures.
- Software developers skills required : proven experience in IBM Infosphere Datastage and SAP Business Objects
Services providers are responsible for:
i. Feeding the DW: maintaining the existing system, adaptation to upgrades or changes of source systems, addition or replacement of data, system documentation, and technical migration.
ii. Ensuring the technical support of the tools used in the DW
iii. Providing second level support for end-user reporting: maintenance of the existing universes and reports, training of end-users, creation of new universes and reports, technical migration or up-grade of tools.
iv. Sourcing, design and feeding of the Risk Application data models (Algorithmics, Moody's Risk Authority, and the in-house application Dispositif de Mesure de Résultat et de Rentabilité (DM2R)) using the Extraction Transform and Load tool IBM Infosphere Datastage .
3.2. Administrative DWH
- Composed of Personnel data, Accounting, Purchasing, budgeting and cost accounting.
- Data extracted from the Oracle PeopleSoft Human Capital Management (HCM) and Financial Management modules, using IBM Infosphere Datastage version 11.3. The documentation of the business terms is done using IBM Information Governance Catalog and the data quality is managed through IBM Information Analyser and IBM Qualitystage.
- Data storage done on Sybase IQ 16.
- Admin Warehouse is also the main data source for the Bank's cost accounting system, Cost Perform, fed by files generated using ETL

ii. Providing the second level of technical support of the tools used in the Admin Warehouse area.
iii. End-user reporting: maintenance of the existing universes and reports, training of the end-users, end-user support, creation of new universes and reports, technical migration or upgrade of tools.
iv. Maintaining the ETL interfaces feeding Admin Warehouse, as well as the ETL interfaces pushing data out of Admin Warehouse (e.g. Cost Accounting interfaces).
