Description

Key Objective:-

* To provide an efficient and effective customer service order process function and comply with procedures

Responsibilities:-

* Ability to review and process all sales orders, including scheduled, forward/backorders etc, with agreed price, delivery and commercial terms

* Co-ordinate with other departments such as CTS, Despatch, Purchasing, Quality Control, Accounts etc where and when necessary, ensuring SLA's are maintained.

* Organise samples, returns, prepare necessary paperwork, update computer, arrange collection where required, liaise with Quality Control and obtain relevant authorisation for resulting credit note/replacement, and complete credit

* Ensure all complaints are dealt with effectively and quickly.

* Resolve all sales order enquiries, queries, such as price issues, deliveries, stock availability, short shipments etc

* Management of all incoming telephone calls, ensuring all calls are dealt with efficiently to meet customers' needs.

* Management of all incoming customer order placement emails and faxes, ensuring all requirements are dealt with efficiently to meet customers' needs.

* Support and assist Regional Sales Managers on their day to day administrative tasks

* Provide and effective communication channel between the customer

* Support other team members and other departments as required. Assist in administration support and management projects as and when required

Qualification & Experience

* Sound background in sales order entry using an mrp business system - SAP preferred

* Background in selling technical products and conversion of customer technical enquiries.

* Supply chain sales experience preferred but not essential
