Description
An ECM - FileNet PS Solution Architect is responsible for scoping, designing and managing (along with the Project Manager) complex FileNet ECM solutions. Serves as a technical leader within the Professional Services organization and commands a detailed knowledge of our software solutions in order to design solutions and deliver implementations with the highest degree of accuracy and customer satisfaction.
Required Skills and Experience:
- 6+ years of FileNet ECM solution architect experience, with focus on IBM Case Manager, FileNet P8 and IBM Content Navigator.
- Experience with storage technologies, server scoping and sizing for ECM solutions, Security Models, disaster recovery methodologies and Highly Available architectures
- Experience with UNIX and Windows based server technologies and architecture.
- Work with customers and software sales team to scope FileNet ECM solutions and projects, quantify project goals, and identify critical success factors
- Strong documentation skills. Able to translate business requirements into a technical specifications
- Strong verbal and written communication skills. Able to identify, manage and mitigate project issues and risks
- Extensive experience with ECM products and integration to third party systems
- 3+ years Business Analysis and Requirements Documentation experience 3+ years of workflow and business process automation technologies experience
- .NET, C#, XML, JavaScript, HTML, DB2, Oracle, MSSQL Server experience a plus
- Self-disciplined and self-motivated
- Ability to effectively communicate with multiple levels (CIO/CFO, Directors, Managers, Consultant, and Engineers in all areas (business and technical) within a client organization
- Must be willing to travel 10-20% and work throughout the US as required
- Work from home office with location most anywhere in US, near a major airport
- Contract Position 30-40 hour per week for a duration of 4-6 months, potentially moving to a Full time employee position.
Core Solution Architect Skills:
- Architecture Design - Leads development of architecture design, configuration, and installation. Provide architectural leadership. Understand, produce and document high end architecture designs.
- Requirements Capture & Documentation - Capture and author detailed functional and technical requirements, provide technical documentation as required by projects, leveraging strong experience in Business Analysis.
- Technical Liaison - Interface with Customer and PS cross-functional team members and project leaders to ensure successful design and implementation of systems.
