Description

Leading Insurance house are looking to hire a Risk Manager with experience of Life & Pensions product knowledge and expertise. The role of Risk Manager sits within the Communications Workstream of the project, and the candidate will be responsible for ensuring that regulatory requirements are included in the delivery of the new statements.

Key Requirements:

  • Good knowledge of the UK financial services marketplace and can show how they keep up to date with regulatory requirements
  • Regulatory compliance expertise
  • Demonstrable experience of risk/compliance roles that support the life, pensions and investments arena
  • A good understanding of the mandatory communications that need to be sent to customers
  • It would help to have good knowledge of the rules for Financial Promotions, but the work involved is to support product/transaction servicing communications only
  • Analytical and enquiring mind
  • Team player but has to have an ability to work on own initiative and challenge/escalate where required
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Ability to engage with and influence stakeholders across business functions
