Solution Architect - Banking - Contract - Glasgow
Square One are looking for a Solution Architect to come on board for an initial 11 month contract in Glasgow.
This is an initial 11 month contract, paying market rates.
This is Monday to Thursday on site and Fridays can be worked remotely.
The role:
Join an existing architecture team to manage and evolve the architecture for an implementation of a Treasury platform for a UK bank (ongoing programme)
Ideally TOGAF certified
Ideally experience in Capital Markets or at least Financial Services
Participate/present at the programme Design Authority/Architecture Control Board
Reviews detail designs to validate alignment with architectural principles and consistency
Owns Solution Plans with support from the rest of the team and workstreams
Supports Architecture Lead with architecture deliverables and stakeholder management
Participates in workstream design workshops
Provides architectural solutions to business problems
Produces architectural views and deliverables/artefacts
Liaises with a number of client architecture domains - infrastructure, security, etc.
Review and integrate all technical requirements, including scalability, performance, recoverability, security and confidentiality, maintainability, operability, and availability requirements. Review and integrate the architecture requirements for the development, runtime, and operations architectures. Make all final decisions regarding hardware, network products, system software, and security.
Obtain stakeholder buy-in for application and technical designs.
Review application and technology architecture deliverables throughout development to ensure quality and requirement traceability.
Identify and communicate any cross-area or cross-release issues that affect other project areas.
This is an initial 11 month contract, paying market rates.
