We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Financial Analyst Team Lead with our public-sector client for a 6 months contract £16 per hour based in Edinburgh.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Delivering high quality financial analysis
- Ensuring the provision of the core data required to support decision making
- Highlighting areas of concern for investigation by Finance Managers
- Analysing complex data
- Managing responsibilities for the Analyst team
- Developing and implementing policies within the Analyst team to support service improvement
Essential Skills:
- Understanding of wide range of accounting theories (incl. forecasting methodologies)
- Working knowledge of complex areas such as VAT and Capital Accounting rules
- Experience of delivering high quality information in a time pressured environment
- Demonstrable experience of managing staff
