Brickendon Consulting is a rapidly growing Transformational Consulting firm that provides solutions to Global Banks and Asset Managers. The company was established in 2010 by 2 partners, one of which is our CEO, Chris Burke, and since we have grown to over 110 people with a target to double in size over the next 1-2 years.
Overview of Assignment
Brickendon Consulting have existing projects with a number of banks, asset managers & hedge funds firms across Luxembourg and London where we have been engaged to provide teams of consultants to deliver SAP implementations based in Luxembourg.
Key Responsibilities
An overview of responsibilities
- Join as a member of our Strategy Practice
- Project Management of SAP implementation
- That means project planning, progress monitoring, managing costs and quality assurance.
- Identify resources, spot risks and understand project benefits.
- It's also important that you can review the design and configuration of SAP to ensure it's compatible with the business.
- Delivery of project design and solution.
- Delivery of projects within timescales and budgets.
- Identification, analysis and mitigation or escalation of potential risks and issues.
- Ensuring quality of project deliverables and management of quality issues.
- Maintaining all necessary communication lines within project teams and Client organizations.
- Achieving successful client sign off and handover to post implementation support function.
- Definition of project deliverables and scope.
- Set up and maintenance of risk and issue management policies and procedures.
- Contributing to SAP design and solution - making design and approach decisions, lead the solution implementation at a detailed level.
Essential Experience
The SAP Project Manager will possess the following skills and experience;
- Considerable experience in the configuration, implementation and management of SAP FICO IT application
- In-depth knowledge of SAP FICO with certification where applicable
- Consultancy skills, to provide recommendations on SAP FICO business process and IT solution design and implementation
- Considerable Finance and Controlling business process experience
- Extensive experience working in various SAP interfaces, especially Idoc's and RFCs
- Good working knowledge of ITIL and Testing Tools
- Formalised project management experience
- Excellent level of communication skills at all levels of the organisation
- Excellent written communication skills (business cases, specifications etc)
- French language skills desirable
- Strong experience of working in a project management role with SAP
- Demonstrated understanding of software development life cycles (ie Agile, SCRUM, waterfall)
- Demonstrated track record of delivering projects in scope, on-time, and within budget
- Technical Accounting background beneficial
