Description

We are currently recruiting for an experienced GDPR information manager, who can provide expertise in the application of Data Protection Act at both an operational and a strategic level, with a compelling track record of making significant improvements in this field. This information manager will be able to provide expertise in the field of Data Protection with particular expertise needed for preparing the College for when the new GPDR legislation comes into place and upskill existing College staff.

Applicants, should have experience in establishing DP culture and compliance, along with the Ability to act with pace and demonstrate impact. This is a high profile role, as such - you will be required to establish and progress a programme of works based on the scope of the College operations and data Legacy.

The main objective of this assignment, will be to establish a Data Protection Strategy and deliver a continuous upskilling programme to support a positive and proportion at information governance culture shift. Along with Further development of the programme of works and drive forward its deployment, driving DP legislation with particular scope to GPDR. As the GDPR information manager, you will asked to provide expert guidance and leadership in support of the CEO's statutory information law obligations specifically the Data Protection Act, along with reporting to the Chief Executive Officer and Senior Information Risk Owner on matters of information law governance

Desirables:

Security Clearance Level Required: CTC - Counter Terrorism Check and NPPV 2 and Qualified/experienced in DP

Please note that the client has determined that the off-payroll working rules will apply to this assignment and where a worker elects to provide their services through an intermediary (such as a personal services company) then income tax and primary national insurance contributions will be deducted at source from any payments made to the intermediary.
