Our client is an independent service company who have an exciting renewable energy project in the Caribbean.
As part of this project they are seeking a French Construction Site Manager who is prepared to relocate to the Caribbean for a minimum of 10 months to ensure the successful completion of this onshore wind farm.
This role is an exciting opportunity for a French national to spend time in a French overseas territory and oversee the successful completion of a project that involves major stakeholders and ground breaking technology.
You will be the eyes and ears on site on behalf of our client who represent the project investors. With this in mind you will be responsible for the general Site Management and Construction Management.
This will involve:
- Management of all sub-contractors ensuring that works are completed on schedule and within the agreed parameters.
- Overseeing all Civil and Electrical works to ensure the project is completed on time and on budget whilst adhering to all necessary quality and HSE standards.
- Chairing all relevant update meetings and providing all relevant project reports to a high standard.
- Representing the project investors via our client and interfacing with all interested parties including project stakeholders and local authorities.
- Liaising with clients, banks and third parties.
- Experience of performing a Site Management role for onshore wind farm projects.
- Experience overseeing both Civil and Electrical works.
- Fluency in French language & French passport.
- HSE expertise in a Construction Site Environment, ideally an HSE qualification.
- Ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience utilizing IT equipment to provide high level project reports.
