Finance Business Partner - Business Cases
My client who are one of the UK's leading telecommunication companies are looking for a Finance Business Partner to join their team on an initial 6month contract based in Newbury.
Role Profile:
In joining the Corporate Functions team here at Group Enterprise you will support our people in strengthening our position as an admired company in the eyes of our customers, shareholders and employees. The team is varied; you could be working within Human Resources, Finance, Legal or External Affairs. What links us all together is that we are all customer obsessed, innovation hungry and ambitious
The ability to evaluate the financial impact of new product development and transformation projects, working with GE and OpCo stakeholders to agree the benefits and targets. To business partner with GE stakeholders to assist them in navigating the financial governance. Responsible for tracking performance of key business cases and Post Investment Reviews across multiple markets.
Key Accountabilities:
- Financial business cases assessments focusing on the commercial impact of the change across multiple markets
- Development of standard templates, financial business Case Tools and standard RoI measures to drive simple, quick and more accurate financial assessments. Leverage insight from profitability tools and other finance analysis to ensure accurate financial assessments
- Ensure all business cases go through the appropriate financial governance, and to represent finance in relevant decisions making meetings
- Prioritisation to adapt to changing business requirements
- Interlocking benefits with relevant finance teams across the Group (GE and OpCos) and establishing means of tracking benefits delivery, working with P&S and BI teams to ensure reporting requirements are captured and fulfilled
