Visual Basic Consultant - Contract - Dublin - ASAP
Leading telecoms company in Dublin are seeking a Visual Basic Consultant to join one of their teams on a contract basis.
Responsibilities:
- You will be responsible for a number of Excel files which will require scripts to modify their file share address
- There are many key Excel files which contain numerous links to files which no longer exist and will likely need a script to break these
- Involved in the post-migration support
Experience/skills:
- Expertise in creating Visual Basic macros and 100% understands macros and links
- Able to script
- Excellent communication
- An individual who is confident to teach/dictate the best way of controlling the use of these links going forward, possibly by running workshops
