My client, a leading UK Bank, are currently looking for a Financial Control Manager to work out of their Edinburgh offices on a long term contract basis.
The Financial Control Manager is required to work on a project that is looking to implement an IT solution for IFRS9 within Financial Control and to help with the transition of this solution into the BAU teams. There will be BAU work to complete as well as assisting the project team.
The successful Financial Control Manager candidate will have the following:
- Qualified accountant (ACCA, FCCA, CIMA etc)
- Background within Financial Control or Financial Reporting within Financial Services
- Been involved in project work and not just BAU activities - this is quite important, the managers would like to see Accountants who have worked in project teams before
- Finance Systems/IT implementation experience is highly beneficial
