Responsibilities of Project Manager, FM Transformation

The Project Manager, FM Transformation, will support the Workforce Transition and Change Communications Workstreams. The candidate, along with local HR/Comms and Sodexo HR/Comms support, will develop effective change and communications strategies to support both the transition of employees to Sodexo and the transition of the organization towards sustaining the change.

The successful candidate will possess strong project management skills in order to support the preparation activities and the execution of the workforce transition plan in EMEA, while utilizing an established network of HR individuals within the in-scope countries.

  • Creates FM program guidelines for consultation communications and the HR deployment process
  • Liaises with the HR contacts to oversee the workforce aspects of the rollout
  • Monitors, mitigates and escalates potential issues and risks
  • Maintains ongoing EMEA Legal and Employee Relations relationships
  • Provides weekly updates to the Global Leads for Change/Comms and Workforce Transition
  • Provides monthly/as needed updates to the HR Network in order to align communications requirements with workforce transition requirements
  • Ensures sponsors are provided with regular and timely insights into program performance
  • Ensures workforce transition plan is delivered within agreed time and quality parameters

Change Management & Enablement

  • In alignment with the organizational change management framework used in J&J Quality Systems & Services, prepare the change management strategy; develop and execute change management plan.
  • Develop and deliver training programs using appropriate tools and processes to support retained organization and supplier partnerships
  • Identify business benefits and measures to track change management success.
  • Capture, develop and validate all change impacts for the business. Develop mitigation plans. Include insights in communications plan.
  • Establish and execute a stakeholder engagement communications plan and maintain the stakeholder list.
  • Execute communications in alignment with overall change plan for readiness and go-live.
  • This includes, but is not limited to: writing targeted communications to stakeholders (in different levels of organization), developing program status updates, sharing ways the business can achieve the project benefits, creating project toolkits (PowerPoint decks for awareness, readiness), making management presentations, change readiness surveys, conducting change network meetings, developing FAQs (frequently asked questions), creating marketing materials and content for website updates (if applicable), utilizing digital signage, and providing End User training support.
  • This also includes proofreading/editing materials.
  • Develop leader action plans in support of the change
  • Following branding guidelines when using logos for company, organization, and program
  • Responsible for ensuring personal and company compliance with all Federal, State, local and company regulations, policies and procedures for Health, Safety and Environmental compliance.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Communications, Behavioral Science or equivalent, is required
  • Experience in Change Management and Communications, Change management efforts including communication, preparing organization for business transformation, influencing others and cross function project management.
  • Business Unit HR Partner experience
  • Certifications (eg, PROSCI, PMP, MCR, SLCR, etc.) are preferred
  • Experienced transformation practitioner, who is comfortable with complexity
  • Project management and reporting experience
  • Ability to quickly understand complex information and workout the right parties to contact
  • Good management and strong technical skills are required
  • Demonstrated knowledge in technical and business disciplines is required
  • Documented success achieving project goals is required
  • Strong record of local collaboration ensuring completion of projects and people development is required
  • Strong communication skills both written and oral are required
  • Ability to coordinate within sites of varying size, complexity, and needs with agility and excellence
  • Ability to focus strategically while maintaining a tactical focus is required
  • Ability to adapt emerging best practices and industry innovations is required
  • Ability to lead diverse teams through change and organizational transformation is required
  • Computer skills, including working knowledge of MS Office suite, are required
  • Ability to travel regularly between sites

Non Technical Skills and Additional Details

Seeking a high level Strategist, MUST have approach-to-market experience with at least one of the following regions:

Africa; Middle East; Russia; Central Eastern Countries. Can be fully remote working (please ensure rate is including all cost associated with remote desk).

Full-time isn't required either; depending on knowledge and experience, we're open to candidates who claim this work can be done in 20 hours per week (they don't have to do execution, just lay out plans). We're not looking for Facilities knowledge, but this person must have some experience working with the Works Council (HR related).
