Finance Analyst - 6 months Contract
Location: Clevedon
Rate: £25ph

The RZ Group is currently working closely with a global engineering company who are looking to recruit a Finance Analyst on a 6 month contract to maintain and further develop the controlling process whilst ensuring that proper KPI's are being measured by standard and focused scorecards and reports.
Key duties will include:
- Improved Control Architecture - identify gaps in business controls. Propose solutions and ensure viable options implemented.
- Inventory Control - work with relevant owner/s of inventory to ensure robust control architecture.
- Reporting - accurate weekly and monthly relevant reporting, implement and interpret unit specific scorecards to help control the KPIs under each PC's functional responsibility and engineering projects
- Participate in periodical budgets and forecasts preparations, ensuring target follow up and analysing deviations when targets are not met.
Experience, Skills & Qualifications Required:
- ACCA/CIMA qualified
- Candidates MUST have experience of utilising problem solving and root cause finance analysis within a manufacturing environment
- Minimum of two years experience with emphasis on general accounting with detailed knowledge of accepted accounting and financial policies and procedures.
- Knowledge and experience in organizational effectiveness and implementing best practices is an advantage
- Experience with interacting and operating ERP systems with different levels of sophistication required
